An Observation

As you know, I just purchased (have not yet received) a Thermomix. During the process I've been watching some auctions on used TM-21s. Really surprised to see them demanding in excess of $400 US. There are no other appliances that I know of that maintain such a high percentage of their original price. That's close to half isn't it? Can only be a tribute to a good machine

Hi,
I have only had my TMX for less then a month and have used it for almost every meal since. One thing I noted was that some TMXs seem to be pictured with a SS Varoma and others plastic. Is anyone able to tell me why this is
Was it just changed recently or does it depend on what country it was purchased in?
Thanks.

The SS Varoma was the original and the plastic model is newer. It has slightly larger capacity, but much better drip-less design.
