Thanks Meagan and Achookwoman.

I had never thought to check out Op Shops. None of my friends are preservers unfortunately. Actually I  could as Jude Blereau, I have done a few courses with her and I know she has a preserving class coming up.

Woolworths has some glass jars that actually seal if you put them upside down when the preserve is still hot.
