Hi everyone  :)

Okay, this area is for "general chit chat", not Thermomix related? Is that okay?

An Aussie friend pointed out this little trick online and of course I couldn't help but think of all the fun-loving Thermomix parents on the forum with kids in the kitchen who might like a go ....

If this is too general for posting, I guess the moderators will remove it -- but it me laugh and should keep the kids busy for a few minutes...

Cheers from the land of snow!

LoL!......that's clever Helene.  Can't wait to make my own chicken  :P

Maybe I should look on youtube to find how they fold those cool serviettes in Chinese restaurants!
Thanks for the laugh  :D

Very funny Helene. I am now making  and hanging them about the kitchen. Very colourful.

Lovely bit of chit chat.

Helene, just showed the video to my DS who is 15 and into that sort of thing & his reaction was - "gotta go and make one of those". Thanks for posting - he has a new trick to show the cousins at Christmas.

Ha ha ha!!!  That's so funny, Helene!  I wonder if I can somehow fit that into my demo routine, just after showing how the Thermomix washes itself, and dries itself (tea towel in bowl on reverse)... I think that would get everyone laughing!!!   :D  :D  :D
(And my kids are going to love you!)

Gorgeous! ;D
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

My computer is 'going slow' at the moment so I was unable to bring this up - I just get sick of waiting for it to download so will have another go when I feel things are 'back to normal'

Helene that is fantastic. I had to go and pause and try it. When we were kids we used to make similar things with a man's hanky. One was like a fire cracker and you pulled the ends and it unravelled. I will have to see if I can remember it.

So glad everyone is getting a good laugh out of this.  ;D

I thought it was hilarious fun but wasn't sure if it was "old news" or what.

Wish my children still lived at home but according to Gretchen, that doesn't matter. She just hangs them up around the kitchen. Let's just hope the neighbours can't see in  :o

Jo, if you start adding this trick to your demo there will be ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT about you being QUIRKY.  :-*
