Hi, I am Annie from Sydney, another newbie eagerly awaiting delivery. So excited and can't wait. I'm really looking forward to learning from the experienced Thermomix owners out there. I was born without the cooking gene and I think this is going to be life changing for me and my family.

Hi Janine & MsTwinkles, welcome to the forum.  Lovely to get your TMX at this time of the year with holidays coming up - plenty of time to experiment and spend some time on this forum learning from others.

Hi and welcome Janine and MsTwinkles

Janine I hope the fire down your way is out this morning. We got heaps of the smoke up here in the southern suburbs, it must have been awful down your way.

MsTwinkles, hopefully the Thermomix will find that hidden gene for cooking. Good luck.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Thank you for your warm welcomes...I am still eagerly waiting for my Thermomix!!!! :D ;D

The fire is close enough for all my washing to smell of smoke but not close enough to be a risk to my house.  :( I have friends that live closer but thankfully no property damage. When picking my girls up from dancing last night I got caught up in a police traffic diversion, due to the fire...so sad to think someone lit this fire on purpose. :( >:(

The fires made the news here in the U.K. I agree with you Janine, why anyone would deliberately start a fire is hard to understand. Keep safe. :)
