CP63 do you put them in caustic soda etc or water?

After we've done all the bits we put ours in a vinegar/water mix with garlic and chilli, have done rosemary, orange zest and other herbs and things. NOt sure of all the quantities as DH does it. I'll ask him.

first time we have ever done them. DH looked up on the internet to see what to do and asked a few of his friends what they did. I seem to remember him buying packet loads of cooking salt, but I'll ask him as well.

there are heaps of trees around where we live, and so we have managed to end up with a few different varieties. wish the council would plant some other trees as well like oranges, lemons, and some stone fruit  :-))
