We really need a Thermomix TV show
« on: January 13, 2011, 10:57:31 pm »
:D just watching lifestyle food again last night. i am really unimpressed with some of the cooks / chefs and some shows.

It would be great if head office did a TV show, using the Thermomix to show off its great capabilities, and get more families into healthy fast cooking.
It could compliment the cook books, and other recipes.

Just my thoughts though...

Great idea but will probably never happen. Lucky we have this forum to help and inspire us.

They did try to encourage a Thermomixing family to enter 'My Kitchen Rules' - wonder if anyone tried?  I heard there was one couple on it that used the tmx a couple of times, but I didn't see it.

There's always the option of any Thermomix user to make a video for YouTube. In my other life as a person who makes skincare products and soap, I learned loads from people who've made videos and posted them there.

Chookie, if someone could video you making bread and talking everyone through it, that would be an excellent way for people to learn online.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Yes, there's a few Thermomix videos on youtube - I keep thinking I'd like to do some recipes like that, but need to figure it out!  Let us know if you do a sourdough workshop on youtube, Chookie!

I've thought about doing some You Tube segments as there weren't that many when I looked or any meals that appealed to me (or more importantly my dh as it was when I was convincing him), but never got around to it. And I don't want video of me on you tube, lol, wonder if I could get dd1 to cook a meal.

You just do it like Helene does, Zan - take it of your hands making the meal, and don't get in the picture! lol  :D
