Hi
« on: March 03, 2011, 03:51:44 am »
Well it's only taken me six months to introduce myself, although that doesn't mean I haven't been using the fabulous recipes everyone has posted on this site.

Thank you all of you who have helped me make my Thermomix the most valuable kitchen appliance I own by posting your recipes and converting my cooking style.

I am a mother to four young boys who are beginning to eat me out of house and home so I am looking for recipes that will fill the troops up and keep them going.

 :D

Hi and welcome Mum to Four. I'm sure they keep you on your toes. What sort of thing do they like you to make for them?

Cookie1,

Well the list is endless.  I am quite fortunate in that they will eat pretty much everything...a good curry as I can bulk it up with rice, any pasta sauces, and stir-fry type dishes.....We also do a lot of baking so muffins, desserts, biscuits (I wasn't too fussed on the choc-chip ones in the Everyday Book but I'm sure there are plenty of others) and cupcakes so I guess it's just feeling my way around the website.

Glad to be of help Mum to Four.  It took a while for people to realise that trying & commenting on recipes was the way to get this forum moving.  It encourages others to try recipes, inspires some to do it that night when they can't think of what to cook and persuades the contributor of the recipe or conversion to keep posting for the good of others. Everyone is happy  :D
