Yes, just press the temperature you want and it will come down or go up.

Yes - and it is instant! Quite often when something is about to boil out I hit the 90
o
C and it instantly goes down.

I didn't think you could fundj and I never have but I just tried it and it does seem to work either adding some time or deducting some. Has anyone else done this during cooking?

Yes I add time often during cooking, especially if I'm using the varoma. If I'm say steaming sweet potato and I know it won't be ready in the time left on the timer I add more time to it.

Yes I often add or take time. Just make sure the TM doesn't hit 0 otherwise you will need to reset the temp too.
