Hi
Being new to this blog, I'm a little confused about the abbreviations I see when I read peoples comments. DH? DS3? and more. Can someone please help me?
Thankyou

Hi Margi and welcome
I'm not totally sure, myself, but I think it means Darling or Dear Husband, Darling son age 3 etc. I'll be glad to hear for sure myself, to be honest!

It can be confusing margi191.DH=dear husband,DS3=dear son 3. You will find a list of most of the abbreviations
here

Ha ha! We must have been posting at exactly the same time, Cookie! I just found that thread as well. Very useful. Everything you need is on this forum somewhere, eh?

DS3 can be dear son aged 3 or dear son number 3 just to confuse you more!!!
I know I am guilty of using it both ways on this forum

My DH is a chronic loud snorer - I can think of a lot more abbreviations, but I might be banned

It took a long time for me to convince DH that it DID actually mean
dear husband
rofl

Slightly off track here, sorry.
CP63 has your DH been checked for sleep apnoea?(spelling?) I only ask as a friend of mine has been feeling very tired and he was tested and his snoring and stopping breathing was at a dangerous level.

I tend to use OH (Other Half) rather than DH - I don't think that I've seen DH, DD, DS etc. used here in the UK but then I don't get about much on the internet so I may well have missed them
