Cocktails and drinks
« on: October 27, 2008, 11:13:57 pm »
Today's tipp from Germany looks like it was developed for brazen :

Drinks and cocktails beautifully decorated

High glasses are best. Half an hour before serving, rinse with clear water and place into the freezer, so they are decoratively covered with ice. Moisten rim of glass and place in a bowl with caster sugar and press in. The glass then gets a nice sugar rim. Lemon and lime slices cut in half for the rim of the glasses, or fasten other fruit and vegetables on with a toothpick . Summer flowers like nasturtium and daisies good, wash well and also use for decoration . Fruit and vegetable slices, and also orange peel can also be cut into shapes with cookie cutters to hang over the   edge of the small glasses. A thick straw or a long spoon are an absolute must.

Looks like party time coming up to Xmas

Good tip - only trouble is I never have room in my freezers to stand glasses!
