I cant believe how the bread rises so quickly! will have to get used to quantities though! We now have enough for about 10 people! My daughter and her friend then made pizza sauce (again made too much.......pizza hut get in touch if you have run out!), and pizza dough......really good! Bread and pizza is not what I intended it for, however impressed by the results!

Sounds like you're off and running.   At least you can freeze stuff if you end up with too much of it.... better too much than too little  :D

Hello from nearby Doncaster, its a small world.  Have just recently got my thermomix and am absolutely loving it together with the advice/recipes on this site.  Enjoy your demonstration and foody experimenting in future.

Hey Winn, I didn't realise you were a near neighbour too.... Maybe we should organise a Yorkshire get-together  :) :)

That would be a great idea Katya, it looks as though the Bimby is becoming popular in Yorkshire.

My first thing was lasagne...........It was lovely! I didnt realise my sauces were so lumpy and under cooked!!!! An absolute doddle!
Soups have been good, mushrooms in sauce good, scones nice but didnt rise like I thought, so will cut thicker..........plus loads more, including the worst pavlova known to man kind!I have been trying to make things to use different aspects of thermy, so have cooked more than I have in ages. Some things, like tortilla, I think are quicker the traditional way.

Well done - I do think you're right and things like pavlova and tortilla are better done by not using the TMX.  I'm sure your confidence and repertoire will increase exponentially as the weeks go on.

Just noticed this thread, sorry I missed welcoming you to the forum joolsmicra.  Sounds like you are doing Ok, plenty of good advice from the girls and how exciting is it to see the UK numbers swelling of late. Have you tried Nay-nay's family scone recipe, it is a good one.
