Menu planning apps?
« on: December 12, 2011, 11:34:43 am »
Hi all, in my wanderings in this forum I've seen people mention various apps they use for menu planning, recipes, shopping lists etc. I rely heavily on my iPhone to keep me organised and was wondering if anyone can recommend an app that keeps track of recipes to try and links the ingredients to a shopping list? For instance, I keep bookmarking recipes from this forum to print out and try later, or I see a recipe then later can't remember where I found it! I try to do a 'rough' weekly menu plan and shopping list as I only have time to do 1 big weekly shop so there's not much chance of 'impulse' cooking around here... if an ingredient ain't in the pantry or fridge, then we have to have something else !  ;)
So, any ideas on something that can tell me what I'm cooking this week, and what I have to buy to make it? ;D

Deedub, I don't have any apps for weekly menu planning as yet either. What I do is copy and paste all my fav recipes onto Word and then go thru them and decide what I am cooking. I really love the Wollworths app. It is simple to use and puts your shopping list in aisle order. No more searching up and down aisles L
