Welcome and glad you're loving your TMX.  The bread is great, isn't it?

For many of us, this is / was our first forum so our love of the TMX also eases us into learning other skills that, perhaps, we would not have used previously, such joining a forum and, perhaps, starting up a blog / facebook page, etc.  It really is a whole new experience.

Nice to have you aboard Groovytater.  You certainly got stuck into the breadmaking early - that was probably the last thing I tackled  :-)) :-))  I think winter is the best time for cooking, summer we don't really feel like it and our appetites decrease, but the smell of soup or casserole cooking in winter and bread in the oven - you can't beat it.

Hi groovytater.

Judy how did you get your appetite to decrease in summer? Please tell me the trick. ;) ;) ;)

;D ;D ;D Cookie, you've just had a very hot summer (much hotter than ours in Adelaide) - didn't you lose your appetite at all? Eating fruit, salads, drinking smoothies when it is in the high 30's & low 40's is all I can ever think of.

Oh I truly wish I did Judy. :'( Perhaps growing up in an area where the summer heat was often over 40 for several days/weeks at a time and no air con did it. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Welcome groovytater! I love making soup now - it takes no effort at all!! And bread to go with it - the family really thinks we are master chefs - it's a nice feeling. Oh and won't it be good teaching Master 3 to cook for you!!  :D Why don't you have a look at this thread and vote for your state - lookforward to hearing more about your Thermomix adventure.  ;)

Must say that cooking in summer is much more bearable now with the TMX. Still get to eat all our favourites but without the whole kitchen sauna thing going on.

Hi Groovytater, welcome to this forum.  You will quickly learn to navigate the site and this is a great place to visit for inspiration regarding food, TMX issues and cooking - actually I will amend that to all things!!!!!!!!  :)  :)  :)
