Orangeand Currant BiscuitsIngredients1 cup currants
1/8 cup of orange liquer eg Grand Marnier
2 cups plain flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon carb soda
½ teaspoon salt
90g unsalted butter
110g sugar
1 large egg
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 orange, zested
PreparationPreheat oven to 180
0C
In a small bowl put currants and liquer. Leave to soak until required. Stirring occasionally.
Place butter and sugar into bowl and beat on speed 3 for about 30 seconds.
Add egg and vanilla and beat another 30 seconds.
Scrape down the bowl and add the flour mixture and use
to bring it all together.
Add currants and the liquid from the bowl with the zest and
speed 3 until combined. Don't let the currants get squished up.
Roll into small balls and place on a tray lined with baking paper.
Bake 8-12 minutes .

here.I have changed it quite a lot though. These were a little dry so next time I may put a tiny bit of milk in if it is needed.
