Will post soon
Tips/Hints:
These is perfect potato also for making Spanish Tortilla (without the green pepper) Just beat 6 or 7 eggs in THX and pour into small frying pan with potatoes. Medium heat, keep it moving until the egg is cooked and with the help of a small plate turn omelette over and brown the other side. Any questions please ask!
These potatoes can also be made with garlic and onions instead of the green pepper, or you can use a mixture of red, green and yellow pepper to really impress the family! delicious too!

Hi and thanks for the recipe.
Just wondering what 'soft' means. I have a TM21, so what setting would I use?
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Thanks bron - great idea again.  Another simple method of preparing potatoes for a tortilla.

I saw a tortilla cooked in the microwave somewhere ?? have to check it out -was in Spanish, so saw the pics, but didn't read it all.

Oh yes, have seen that somewhere too. Think they are cooked in one of those roasting chicken bags meant for the oven, pop the potatoes in and in the microwave. Will check it out and try and get back to you with times etc ;)

MeganJane, lowest possible speed, can you do less than 1? Like 1/2?

Karen, it's almost a whole year since bron posted this recipe! I had a TM21 in those days.... I still haven't made this, but will correct that oversight very soon....

I'd like to see a photo of the finished dish as I am having trouble getting my head around what it should look like. What keeps the potatoes from falling to bits seeing as they are sliced so finely?  Would love some different ways to cook potatoes in the TMX so will await a photo from someone.

Think as if you were just frying some potatoes and green peppers in some oil and then drain them off afterwards.  Might have to find a picture - it is the sort of thing, as bron says, that would be the first step of making a tortilla.

Ok, quick look - imagine that this has green pepper instead of onion ??

Is that using Bron's method Thermomixer?  Looks great and I prefer onion to green pepper anyday.  Red is Ok but just don't like green.

The pics is off the internet to give some idea of what it should look like - haven't tried them as yet.

I tried this recipe tonight, hoping for something like the photo Thermomixer posted.  No such luck so I drained it and finished it off in the frying pan I had cooked the fish in.  I used potatoes, onions and garlic and the finished potatoes were lovely.
