Tumeric stains, some ideas please

Well I have always known tumeric stains and am very careful with it. This time i was making Balinese paste for 1 chicken and 1 pork Balinese dish. The paste is full on lucky TM grinds everything. The ingredients were amazing anyway 125g of tumeric, it just seems to get every where. I made 2 containers of paste, then when making the stock i needed a wad of the paste, then had to sieve the stock, i had about 4 litres so not many containers are that large in my house. I have a huge white bowl which is now yellow yep tumeric stains, ho ho ho. Its on the floor, bench, its every where, just drops and splashes, my bench and parts of the floor are now covered in dishwashing liquid as this has worked well in the past, so i have a sea of green in the kitchen.
I think the bench and floor will be fine, but what about my bowl.
Any ideas.
BTW the chicken dish tastes out of this world, i had to tone down the spices, because you use the paste in the stock and then again andthen add more chillis, corraider seeds, lemon grass etc.
Hally
Just realised CP will probably fall over fter reading this post!LOL

What is the bowl made of Hally. I have quite a few of Shannon Lush's books and her remedies have never failed me. I can have a look if you let me know. BTW are we going to see these recipes posted? I love the sound of them.

Have you ever tried these magic Erasers. They really are magic. Worth a try.

Just a word of warning, watch what you use those magic erasers on they can be quite abrasive, test a little bit first before you use them on the whole thing. I took the surface off some laminate with them lol, they are quite good on somethings though.

Hally, Shannon's books give a couple of different remedies. I have listed them below and its up to you which ones you try.
1. Fill a 1 litre spray bottle with water and add 1 teaspoon lavender oil. Shake well and lightly mist over the area, then wipe off.
2. Scrub the stain with a paste of equal parts glycerine and talcum powder on a nylon brush. Rinse off.
3. Sprinkle coarse salt over the cut face of half a lemon, scrub over the stain and leave in the sunshine to dry.
Hope these help.

I asked the lady at the cupcake course and she said vinegar.
Did this first and it worked brilliantly
Thanks everyone
