Another fan of AWW here.
I have several of the cookbooks I purchased years ago when we still had a little gourmet shop here in town that carried a decent selection of cookbooks. (Closed in 1997)

In the years since then I have purchased a few from ABE Books  mostly from vendors here in the U.S. but a couple from Manyhills book store in Morwell in OZ.

Now many are available from Amazon so I now take the easy route.

I wanted to make some biccies to bring into work tomorrow, well really I wanted to eat shortbread again but it's less fattening if I share.   When I was having a cup of Earl Grey yesterday I thought it would be fabulous frozen as a sorbet (JDs apple & lemon sorbet is next on my hitlist). And then I wondered about flavouring biscuits, and found this has been done before!

Blitz 2 tbsps of your favorite blend with the sugar/or rice, I also added a touch of vanilla essence. It's been suggested some orange rind goes well too but I wanted to try just tea first.   I used a heavenly blend called French Earl Grey that I bought near Byron Bay, every cup tastes and smells like holiday.

I know, plain traditional shortbread is still the best, but I can't resist playing, can you?

How delicious.  I will be sure to innovate the traditional and make a modern fusion.

They were nice and well received, even the Scottish lass said they were good.  No one could guess the mystery ingredient so it's quite subtle.
