I agree Fundj!  Can't bear the "you're bothering us being client" attitude either!

Welcome back Lee. ;D

I agree that our thermie's totally spoil most restaurant food for us.  For friends recently I cooked my creamy garlic prawn risotto and followed it up with a torta caprese, kind island double cream and berry coulis.  We were in absolute foodie heaven! On Sunday my parents came for lunch and I served Winter soup (from MWOC), fresh rolls and then Bron's Lemon Sponge cake for dessert.  It was such simple fare but I doubt we could have found better in any restaurant in our area. Delish!

I am so delighted to find many of you agreeing with me.  Consultants far and wide must preach this message and whilst many new to Thermomix might find it hard to believe, we know!!!

??Here's an idea for a demo??

- Tell the customer who is having a demo to ensure to go OUT for dinner BEFORE the demo and keep the receipt
- Find out the kind of things they ordered and if possible "match" the menu
- Make it for them at 1/100 of the price and 200% of the taste and WOW the pants off them
- Survey them to see how often they go out for dinner and do the sums for them over the course of a year
- Tell them the price of Thermomix.  I bet they will be well in front with a heaps of money in the pocket

I suppose you could then tell them about taking left overs to work and NOT buying lunch if they are STILL not convinced, which naturally they will be!!

Are we allowed to create our own demos like that?

I believe in Australia there is a set menu that the consultants have to stick by. But I'm not a consultant so I'm not 100% sure that's right. Someone will correct me if I'm not. But your idea sounds perfect.

That's an amazing idea Lee - if people are having a problem justifying the cost you can soon show them how fast they could recoup the money.
