Australian Thermomix in America?

Has anyone taken an Australian Thermomix to the USA and used it successfully? I've been told it will work with a convertor (2000watts I think) but will the heating and speed be affected? Thanks, Kay

Hi Kay
When I was researching this, I was told by the tech in Australia that there may be just a slight difference in heat. He didn't say anything about speed though......

Welcome Kay. I'd get onto head office, they should be able to help you.
