I am definitely NOR.....

My consultant lives SOR so thats why mine is taking 2 weeks as she is bringing it to me at my party. I bought one from a friends party. If that makes sense.

I have already cleared my cupboard for wholefoods and I am in the process of fully cleaning out my kitchen,...its like getting ready for a pet...lol...finding a place for it to sleep, finding 'his space' etc....lol

Welcome Susan and James. You will both love your new little gadget.

I have had mine for over a year and couldn't live without it now. My son is on an Addditive Free Diet, and love that I can make him delicious meals and lunchbox goodies without all the nasties. Today he is taking banana bread, mashed potato bites and pizza scrolls in his lunchbox. All made in the thermie. No packet stuff at all. The only non Thermie food in there is his fruit.

Exercise is a dirty word... Every time I hear it, I wash my mouth out with chocolate

Hi Susan,

So nice to hear that you're finally cooking with it! What was the first meal you cooked with your new Thermomix?
I've had my Thermie for eight months now and can easily say it changed my life. Bold statement, but this summer I started to grow my own vegetables, since two weeks I work only 40% (used to work three days a week, now only two) so I have more time to cook and try new things with the Thermomix. Never thought this would happen.

It's like you start a journey when you buy one, and I am still discovering new places.....love the ride!! It's just a shame that here in Holland the Thermomix is quite unknown, and even 'spreading the word'  doesn't really help. I thought of becoming a consultant here, but for now I have to be honest and say that I so much like to spend my extra free time cooking.....I did start a blog however, just yesterday.

Anyway, too much about me, this should be all about you and your new Thermomix!!!! I truly hope you enjoy your Thermie as much as everybody here on this forum!!!  ;)
