Ive fallen in love....
« on: November 21, 2011, 10:37:43 pm »
Hi all,

My first post....

Ive had my new Thermomix for 6 days and have cooked with it everyday since them. During last nights dinner things went wrong, my machine didnt weight properly (turns out one foot was on the cord) and as a result i overloaded my TM bowl :(, so had no choice but to put it in a pot and onto the stove for the remainder of the cooking process... It was during this 10 minutes of stirring, scrapping, sticking, and swearing that I realised I had truely fallen in love with my Thermomix... xxxx

Needless to say I ditched some of the dinner and had it back in the TM before it was finished :)

Cant wait to discover more recipes and enjoy many more hours in the kitchen.

Nikki

hi nikki73, welcome to the forum. before I start cooking each time I zero the weight and pop the MC lid on the TM and it should weight between 25 or 30g. Then you know the scales are right. This morning I did this and the MC only weighed 20g and sure enough the TM was sitting on the cord at the back.

Why not pop over and enter in the poll so we can keep track of where our members are from.
We have lots of delicious recipes here that our members have kindly posted - and here is my current list of favourites - we also look forward to hearing from you if you have any queries, comments or converted recipes of your own to offer.

Welcome Nikki. We all do those things as we go along. The best thing is we only ever do them once.

Hi Nikki - good that you worked out the problems so quickly- I thinks we've all made a measuring mistake at some stage. Happy cooking!
