hello and thank you!
« on: November 30, 2011, 05:14:30 am »
I posted a while back in the thermochef thread to give a bit of feedback on the thermochef and just wanted to come in here and say a HUGE thank you for all of the wonderful recipes you share. I would have really struggled without these fantastic recipes and hints as the thermochef recipe book is very basic and full of errors. There is also very little in the way of thermochef recipes online.

I have made so many recipes from here, especially bread. I haven't bought shop bread for over 2 months! I made the Taiwan loaf this morning and it is just perfect for lunch box bread. (the kids were having a hard time chomping through the more dense loaves I've been making  ;D )

So far every recipe I have tried has been a success but I do consistently need to lower the temp on the TC. Not sure if it is a thermostat issue with my machine or if it's like that for all TC's? Anyway, not a problem to set temp a bit lower.

So thanks very much! :) :) :) Oh and I especially love the play dough recipe, I've been making it for years and have used a few different recipes but the TMX recipe wins hands down.
