Judy, I've just spent the evening going through all the reviews for Dani Valent's book and have put a post-it note on the relevant page with notes from reviews or simply ticks if the recipe didn't need tweaking.

Thank you, having everything on one page and each link opening in a separate tab made it soo much easier!  :-*
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Glad you are finding them useful MJ - I have just given one of the latest books to my DD for an early birthday present and it had yellow stick-it notes all over it as I know she doesn't have time to go on the forum to check reviews first.

Salmon Filo Spiral 2012 calendar
« Reply #17 on: July 11, 2012, 01:00:12 am »
This is the second time I have made this recipe. It is lovely. I didn't have 300g of salmon, so used 60g of smoked salmon and 240g of salmon fillet. It did it exactly as the recipe is stated and we loved it. We had leftovers cold, and the flavour was awesome. It is quite strong in salmon flavour if you use the smoked salmon but we love salmon. The filo is soft when eating cold but still delish. :D
