Hi I have had my thermo for about 5 months now and still getting used to it. I packed up everything in my kitchen and that was the  best thing for me so I am not tempted to revert to old ways! The varoma is the thing that has me really bothered but I guess I will get used to that too with practice. Last night I tried Creampuffs steamed ginger fish and it was great - even my non fish loving son enjoyed it so thanks for the recipe!

Hi Damck and welcome  :) Once you master the varoma you will love it. There are plenty of varoma recipes on the forum for you to try out. Have a look in the "All in one" section there are many there to get you going. Baf's Creamy Chicken and Vegetables is another that has been a huge hit with members. Let us know how you go  ;)

There are loads of recipes here.

Hi Damck - welcome to the forum!
i admit that I don't use the varoma as much as I could/should. The recipe for steamed sausages is a real winner, and I've loved being able to steam chicken or duck as well (in or out of an oven bag). Gnocci using steamed potatos is also a winner in this house - I added some confit garlic to the last batch and got the thumbs up from DH.

Hi Damck, welcome to the forum.  I don't know how long it was before I used my Varoma but for some reason I ignored it - think I was still trying to get used to the TMX itself without any other bits.  Now I steam no other way.  You have at least tried it and had success so you will find recipes that call for it and will have no hesitation in trying them.

welcome damck  ;), so glad to see you are putting your machine to good use and not just letting it sit on the bench  :D Use it as much as possible, and pretty soon it becomes indispensable.  Really glad your DS enjoyed my fish recipe - we had it again last night as my kids go mad for it  :-)) Don't be scared to use your Varoma - there is nothing complicated about it, its just a steamer. You will get lots of ideas and support from this forum to get the most out of your machine.

Welcome to the forum Damck. I've only had my Thermomix for 2 months and haven't used the varoma yet, actually I haven't even unpacked it. I think I will book a demo.
