Newbie from Perth
« on: January 09, 2012, 06:20:52 am »
Hi All,

We actually got our Thermomix early in 2010 but in mid 2010 we took off on an 18 month holiday. We are not long home now and I am keen to start cooking again. I have got a vege concentrate cooking as we speak and am planning on making Quirky Jo's Chicken and Mushroom Risotto tonight. Also whipped up some scones on the weekend which went down treat.

I haven't yet attempted to convert any recipes yet but I'm sure Ill give it a try soon!

Cheers

Hi Shan_k, welcome to the forum.  Hope you enjoyed your 18 month holiday - not many of us could leave our TMX's for that long :o  Looking forward to anything you have to contribute to the forum.

Hi there Shan_K, I have to agree with JD unless you were overseas that TMX would have been the first thing to go in.  Hope you enjoy the forum.

well I did suggest to my partner that we could 'thermie' our way through South and Central America and blog about it.....he didn't buy it! And considering we went to loads of places where the power wasn't good enough to run more than one thing at once - I am not sure we would have been that successful!
