mmn, it really is cookie. love being able to steam the beetroot instead of turning on the oven. you would definitely love this book cookie

Has anyone elses book arrived smelling absolutely fowl. I am taking it outside to air it. I think its been left near diesel or some revolting chemical.

I wonder where it has been in?!?!

No, mine didn't smell Hally.  Yours has obviously been sitting somewhere it shouldn't have.  Hope you can get rid of the smell then you can perhaps take it away with you and give it a good read.

We had this salad for dinner last night and it was lovely.

Steaming the beetroot in Thermie was so fast and easy (and cooler than having to roast them in the oven on a hot Adelaide day).

I hadn't told my OH what I was making prior to dinner, as he isn't a fan of rocket, or pears, or fruit in savoury dishes.
I don't normally make things he doesn't like, but I had a feeling he would like the salad if he gave it a chance.
He pulled a face  :-)) when I put in on the table and told him what it was.
He proclaimed it delicious though and went back for seconds and then thirds!

I did substitute half of the rocket for baby spinach, but I'm sure it would have been just as nice with just rocket.
