What I have learnt from this Forum!
« on: January 27, 2012, 06:54:05 am »
I have had my beloved Maurice for over 2 years and still in love with him   What I have learnt from reading all the wonderful posts on the forum is
1. Not to be worried if something doesn't turn out perfectly the first time.  Try again.
2. Improvise. If I don't have the correct ingredient in the pantry, look to see what I can substitute
3. I am not the only buyer of cook books!
4. Try something new
5. I can rely on the forum to come up with the answers to any questions I mayhave

I am sure there is more

Today I cooked my boiled eggs, made apricot jam, made pesto for the freeezer, and now Isa's Rolls.   Someone asked me today if I used Maurice everday.  YES

Glad to hear you are still enthralled by the TMX & the forum Kayc - you never stop learning on here.  It may not always be about food but there is always something we didn't know until we read it here on the forum.
