Silly question, do you get little booklets from your dealers with recipes and can you also get a yearly subscription to little magazines that come out a few times a year too???

Certainly in the UK we don't, but I did get them when I lived in Germany and had the TM21.  It was an optional extra club and they came as part of that.

I posted a few of the recipes on the forum which I wanted to keep (I translated them into English, obviously :-) ) and then gave the to a German friend who has a TM21 and was visiting me in the UK at the time.

I'm looking forward to the day that the UK thermomix is big enough to turn out things like that too - and Australia, of course. Won't it be great?
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

I think in the UK we are pretty hard done by as far as 'extras' are concerned.  I would love to be able to subscribe to a TMX magazine here.  What few extras you can get in the UK are not advertised on their website, apart from the recipe books.

Katya, how did you manage to get the Spanish magazines because as far as I can tell, they don't send them to the UK?

JB - I bought them when I was in Spain....  ;) ;)

I think the problem in the UK is that the TMX is just not widely known about and probably not enough users yet to sustain the production of a magazine.   They do keep adding new recipes to their site but I find it difficult to work out which are new... I have asked them if they can do something about that but, as yet, no joy  :'(

One day when I was fooling round looking for apps for the ipad I came across Spanish (I think) thermomix magazines.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Thanks Katya.  Do they sell them in shops or did you have to order from TMX Spain?  I doubt if I will be going there this year so I might ask a Spanish friend to get some and then send them on to me.

Cookie, when I spotted that a TMX app was available for ipads, I had to ask DD what they were as I might find it useful, but she just laughed at me and said I wouldn't be able to learn how to use one, as I hardly know how to use my mobile phone  :-[
