Help the Kings

This is a very sad story of the King family who live in Launceston (Tas). I'm certain some of you may have already know the story of a family who has lost 2 of their members since October last year.
Firstly their 10 year old son Noah passed away in October then the Father/Husband Aaron King died on Australia day from a massive heart attack.
Aaron was my sons teacher last year in grade 10 and my DS had nothing but praise to say about him. My DS attended Aaron's funeral along with around 800 other people.
Lisa who is Aaron's husband and Noah's mum along with their 3 other young sons has a blog which is very sad to read
http://http://lisajking.blogspot.com.au/
There is also a site called seven cherubs that is collecting donation for Lisa and her family.
http://http://www.sevencherubs.com/2012/01/king-family-donations.html
Just a warning if you read this story you will be moved by this incredible family who has been through so much.
Lisa is also a TM owner and has links on her blog to many of our favorite TM sites (including this one). I'm not sure if she is a member of this forum but I just wanted to show my support to such an amazing woman and their family.
Take care Lisa, Jalen, Harrison and Kobe.

Thank you Mandi, it is a very sad story but I just know Lisa will stay strong for the sake of her 3 boys. What a beautiful family they are and what a double tragedy for them to have to bear.

I think she has a huge amount of support from family, friends and even strangers which is terrific. I couldn't imagine how hard it must be for her to deal with so much sadness.
This has been on my mind for many hours over the last few days and has really made me appreciate what we have. I don't know how I would cope if this happened to me.

It is such a tragedy. I stumbled across her blog somehow last year and was devastated when Noah passed away. I was beyond shocked to read her husband had died tragically as well. I can't even imagine. She has such a way of writing and sharing that you feel like you are on her journey with her, there are no words really.
I have felt so sad for her and her boy this week and I don't even know them.

I know exactly how you feel medusa. I can't imagine the pain that family would be feeling right now.

Just wanted to update on the progress of fundraising for the King family which as now reached over $31,000 and also an fundraiser on Facebook which got over $7,000. Which is fantastic. Now Lisa will be able to get a head stone for her son Noah and husband Aaron. There are so many generous people from all around the world who have been touched by the story of the King family and donated some money.
I know no amount of money will ever fix anything but hopefully it helps ease the financial bourdon of funeral costs and the cost of having head stones made.

I've donated, I didn't read all their story, but the photos were enough to bring tears to my eyes.

I find myself reading all the updates. Lisa is a great writer and I feel sad ever time I read something else, but also I can see she is writing about happy memories of her son and husbands life which make me happy. It also makes me appreciate my family and feel so lucky to have everyone healthy and happy.
