I brought back 2kg of dried porcini from Italy - they were sooooo cheap and no worries with customs.Friends had brought some porcini and morels from Switzerland the year before - I thought they must have been so expensive, but they are just so much more available over there.
Maybe next time Gretchen. People wouldn't mind bringing these back as they are so light and wouldn't interfere with their baggage allowance. Better than a souvenir - unless it is a leather handbag
