Hi everyone. Just got my TM a couple of days before Christmas 2011, didn't get much time to use it then during the festive season as had most of the Xmas cooking done. Early January we went camping for a moth so of course I had to take my new "right arm" with me so that I coule learn how to use it. Fellow campers also enjoye those quick treats that were coming out of the bowl. Just love it... It's just the best kitchen tool and am looking forward to many years of continued enjoyment, preparing all those new, exciting easy, quick and healthy recipes.

Loes welcome to the forum. I am also in Tassie. Where did you go camping?
I'm in the north of tassie and we went camping east tassie over Christmas, but no power no TM for us.
Sounds like the fellow campers enjoyed you taking your TM with you.

Welcome to the forum Loes. Glad you were able to take thermomix camping with you - it would
be hard to be parted from it so soon.

Hi Loes, welcome to the forum. I'm from Tassie too, from the south. How nice not having to be apart from your most helpful friend.
I do miss my "thermo" when we go away and we haven't been camping for years.

Hi and welcome.
Reading through the forum whilst waiting for my TMX to arrive I thought people were a bit mad taking theirs on holidays/camping with them. Now I am debating moving from our usual beach front camp spot to the powered sites just so I can take mine! I think i would worry leaving it in the caravan though, both whilst driving and once set up but away from the site!
