Didn't get to make this on the weekend as DD made a chocolate cake and a banana cake so will wait till next weekend. Printed and ready to go.

Just made this as well today. I don't like coffee but DH is eyeing it off. Got to ice it shortly. Nice and easy one to make.

Completely yummy thanks snappy  :)

I increased the espresso shot to 30ml for the cake, and reduced the espresso in the icing to 20ml.
.........EAT CAKE!

No I have not yet Snappy. I mostly don't eat what I make (cause I know how bad of a cook I am) lol no only joking ;D
I usually leave it for the DH and kids for school/work, but I might just have to have a tiny little piece.

Don't think it's will power cookie. Think it's more like I spend so many hours cooking and want it to last as long as possible before I have to cook more. (usually dosnt last very long though in this house)
I guess at least it must taste good if it dosnt last long :)

I'm glad it worked well for you Cornish Cream! I'm going to make this cake again this week to take into work for an Easter morning tea
