Hi everyone I am currently holidaying with my parents who live in Tasmania. I am so cold and wish I had packed my Thermomix to rustle up some warming food. But in saying that I have arranged to have a thermomix demo delivery for my Mum on Tuesday and she has no idea. I know she wants one really badly and can not afford one of her own so my children and myself have colaborated to buy one for her as she has helped us so much over the years. I just can't wait to see her face and niether can my sister and sister in law who also own one.

What an absolutely wonderful and goose bump producing thing to do for your Mum!! Would give anything to be a fly on the wall when the time comes . . .!!
You'll all be cooking up all manner of warming good food in no time at all. Please let's know how it all goes on Tuesday!!

Your not wrong about being cold here in Tassie at the moment.

Hi dragongirl, welcome to the forum. What a lovely daughter you are and what a surprise dear Mum is going to get on Tuesday. You'll be able to help her familiarise herself with it before you head back home. Do come back and let us know how the surprise goes down.

Hello dragongirl, welcome to the forum. My TMX was a gift so I know just how your mum will feel when she receives it. Do encourage her to join the forum where she will learn so much.

Hi Dragongirl and welcome to the forum. Sounds like you are having a lovely visit with your parents in Tassie.
What a wonderful surprise for your Mum. Such a lovely thing to do and I'm sure your Mum will be shocked and overjoyed at your kindness
It sounds like she will have lots of experienced Thermie users to help her get started.
