Hi Everyone,
I've been lurking on this amazing board since December when my beloved Thermy joined my family & have finally bitten the bullet & signed up!
I'm a 33 year old mother of two (girls, aged 4 & 6.5) living in the north-east suburbs of Perth. I LOVE cooking for my family & try to use fresh/whole ingredients where possible so the TM was a natural fit for me. My husband was happy to indulge my desire for a TM but never thought he would use it.....how wrong was he! He loves using it whenever time allows him
I've just joined a newly formed co-op so am looking forward to purchasing through them.
I work p/t as an Ed Assistant at my girls school & am constantly amazed by how much food plays a part in a child's behaviour/concentration. I love what Jamie Oliver is trying to do to change people's perception....we need more of him!
I look forward to discovering more delicious recipes through this board...thanks so far!

Hi OIM, welcome to the forum. We will forgive you for taking a few months to finally join in the fun we have on here. I completely agree with you regarding Jamie Oliver but sometimes I think he is banging his head against a brick wall to get through to people. He doesn't seem to give up though so hopefully his message will spread far and wide.

Amazing how the "other halves" discover how wonderful the TMX is . . . . my DD has found that, too!

Hi and welcome to the forum OIM, glad you could come in and join us. I'm glad to hear your DH is enjoying using the TM as well. My DH still does not come anywhere near my TM.

Hello and welcome OIM. I too believe food has a big influence on children's behavior. DS has a strict diet when it comes to preservatives, colors and flavours.
The thermie makes it so easy to make delicious healthy natural food.

Welcome OIM I too am a believer of food and kids behaviour
I often have food conversations with the kids at school when I so parent reading and generally the diets that I am astounded at are the kids that can't sit or stand still whilst they are reading to me. They generally have something moving ... even if it is their eyes in the wrong direction!!
