I have trouble getting ds8 to eat salad, he takes a bite of this 'n' that, wont try new foods etc. on our cruise ship he absolutely loved salad.
Each item was cut up nicley & placed in a bowl. He could then choose what he wanted from all the featured bowls, he had lettuce, cucumber, grated carrot, avacado, bean sprouts, spring onion, egg, chicken, ham, brie, croutons, parmesan cheese & a little dressing. This was then all tossed, then re-chopped with a pizza wheel & served to him. He absolutely loved this salad. We made this today at home. He ate a very large bowl.
The choice was amazing, it looked and tasted great.
Hope this helps other mums.

That was a bonus to come out of your cruise Hally. Pity summer is almost over although it seems to be hanging around in Perth.

Yes JD, huge bonus. CP asked for salad for lunch today. Also he now loves asparagus.

Great news Hally. I love salad all year round. In fact if I don't have one for a couple of days I get withdrawal symptoms.

It's so good to see younger children eating fresh salads. It was presented in a different way than he was use to and it's worked out well.
Also nice to see you're keeping it up at home.

Well done Hally. We are lucky DS will eat most salad and veges. Getting him to eat meat is our problem.

What a good idea Hally. DH doesn't enjoy salad but I think even he might eat it this way. Will give it my best shot.

DG, finely chop meat & put it into this salad, seems anything goes in these
Yes its a great way to eat salad, plus also a way of adding new things to the bowl in a small quantity.
