Saw TMX at the shops!
« on: April 22, 2012, 07:51:11 am »
I was at northland shopping mall in Melbourne yesterday & there was a thermomix stand there. Had a quick chat to the ladies manning the stand - unfortunately they couldn't demonstrate the TMX there, just talk to people about it. They said they'd had lots of attention - bet they would've had a lot more if they could have shown what it could do! Hopefully they got lots of bookings for demos....

I think it's a great idea to have them on show more often than just at a demo. Shame they couldn't have one running and making things.

It would have been good to have an ipad there with videos of the TMX working. That way people can get more of an idea about how the machine works and what it can produce.
I hope the ladies get some deoms booked.

Our local team was at Rockingham SHopping Centre this week too (the pic is on HO home page) and Sandy has her iPad there with the videos from the MWOC app  ;) ;)

Excellent idea. A good way to expose the thermomix to more people.

Rara was at Galleria too. The ipad is a good idea.

This is a really interesting idea.  Does anyone know someone who ad done this to know how many demo bookings they got?  I'm considering whether to do this ...
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

Great idea. After attending a friends demo, I thought about buying my TMX for absolutely ages and I'd loved to have seen one at a shopping centre to help me to make the big decision.  This is my first comment to Chit Chat - exciting to be part of a fun group of people who all love the same thing. :D

Welcome to the forum with your first couple of comments Thermiebaby.  Why not pop over to Introduce Yourself on the home page and tell us a bit about you and your family.

I know that Thermomix were spruiking it on their FB page - don't know if that helps?
