Help! Scales weighing incorrectly!
« on: May 04, 2012, 04:53:24 am »
Aggghhh! I do not need this now. I don't have the time to send my TMX to Perth, wait for it to be fixed then wait for the poster to bring it back!

Are there any tricks to get scales working again? Mine are just weighing far, at less than correct weight. I've cleaned the feet, made sure cord isn't underneath and turned on and off heaps of times. Anything else I can do?

I need it for demos!

Oh no MJ, what terrible timing.
How far out are they?
Have you tried weighing the MC? Should be between 25 and 30 g.

Yes, I've cleaned the sensors. I'll weigh the MC and see what it says. I haven't unplugged the cord only turned the machine off and on.

Not as disastrous as I thought, I can borrow DDs TMX for demos.

The MC is weighing at 25 g, but when I weighed potatoes which should have weighed 420g, it read 120.

It seems to be about 25 - 30g out when comparing to my normal scales which weigh in 1g increments.

Just now weighing potatoes again and it's working properly! I'll still send it off at some stage, but not just now...

Yep sounds a bit inconsistent with weights. Glad you can use DDs TM for at least the moment ;)
