Give him a big hug and ask him to help you plan the week's menu.

My other suggestion is the chicken kievs from the forum- my DH always helps himself to more than he should! The pie thing is also a great idea. The salami fettucine from the EDC is always a good one as well as there is not too much sauce and even though by DH is not big on pasta I make it with the spicy salami you can buy as he loves spicy food. Luckily my lasagne and spag Bol always seems to get eaten as well - sometimes I think my DH is fussier than the twins. The only but of good news is that my 19 yo stepdaughter decided that she didn't want to be a vegetarian anymore so now I only have to worry about cooking for an anal DH, 5 yo twins, my Coeliac disease and a non vegetarian teenager. Thank goodness for the TM! ( By the way, the only runny thing my DH doesn't complain about is the TM custard! He can never get enough of it- especially when I dollop it over a bowl of morello cherries.)

Well, after a round of night shift, a few days off and some R'n'R- DH (the Dear-sort this week) has had a review of what he does actually like and it DOES include TM food, just not rice and curry! Of course the children- the little darlings, heard him say it was slop and take GREAT delight in asking what slop is for tea! That was beaten out of them rapidly (kidding!!); bribery of chocolate custard seemed to fix everything!!
Cocoa adds a delightful element to chili- it gives it a really yummy flavour! Just dont use too much or you will have chocolate meat!! Chocolate and chilli are being used more often, I actually heard a chef on the radio talking about it- you get the smoothness of the chocolate/cocoa and the warmth of the chilli...mmmMMMM
I've put a huge amount of recearch into what meals will be acceptable for the dear man, so hopefully he will be much happier with the choices!! I will feed the children and myself the meals he doesn't like and be the perfect '50's domestic goddess and feed my man his meat and 3 veg (TM style!)

I tried this
Beef and Guinness Stew
last night - beautiful, and would make great pies. Don't all men love a beef and guinness pie?
Hope the link works - my first attempt!

Some nights, I get my DH to cook BBQ meat, and then I just do sides and/or salad mostly in the TMX. We have one of those weber babyQ on the balcony, its no dramas for him, I usually have the meat marinated ready to go. We are both happy with this option - easy and quick for me to share the cooking load - and he is happy with his blokey steak.

My husband is the same!
Though his eyes do light up at the mention of anything bacon related, so I am thinking I might use that as an excuse to get In the Mix, so I can make that Bacon Dust and sprinkle it around with gay abandon!

My daughter just sent me an email about man food. Too funny. You can do it. See if I can get these photos up.
