Very pleased with it Judy and my super market spending is so much better than before I started the challenge.

Even though I'm not participating in this challenge, I have been more watchful of what I spend since the challenge started.
I still had $500 grocery money left over from the last month so last week I used it to buy one of these. I only had to add $25 to it.
Have used it a few times already, particularly good after cleaning up after dinner, the area where I prepare can quite often have bits and pieces that's dropped to the floor, so only takes a few seconds to vacuum it up. Cleaned out my kitchen drawers yesterday and used it to suck up all the little bits that was in the bottom and corners of the drawers.
Will be great for cleaning my timber venetians this week and the inside of my car.
If I do as well next month, I wonder what I can buy then?

Yes it's the new model, DC 44 Animal. Comes with the floor attachment as well as 3 others, one for upholstery, one with a soft brush and the long thin one for getting into nooks and crannies.
The holder/charger where it slots into attaches to the wall so it's ready to go at all times.

I have the electrolux one, the suction isn't as great on it as it was so I would love the dyson do you have to hold the button on the whole time? What price did you get it for? Thanks

Yes you do need to hold in the button, but as it's only in small spurts it's not a problem. Of course it's not for taking the place of your normal vacuum but as a 'Dustbuster' type thing I'm really pleased with it. I paid $525 cash with 3 years warranty from Harvey Norman.
Make sure to look for this model as it's been improved from the last lot of hand helds they made. Look for the blue wand. I was so surprised at how lightweight it is, thought I might have trouble when holding it up to clean the venetians, but it won't be a problem.
You just press the red lever and the bottom opens and the rubbish falls out.

Thanks Julie will put this on my wish list it is much easier than getting out the whole vacuum I have heard the suction is great on the dysons. The electrolux is ok but I think the dyson would be better
Have to work on DH with this, the microwave and everything else I want

I love my Maria. I would rather pay her the $525 than clean the blinds myself. Lol!

Well done on your savings Julie, and for using them to buy such a practical device!
We have a dyson vacuum cleaner, they are brilliant

I would rather have an iPad than a cleaning device. I hate cleaning .

I have in iPad Gert, so okay there
Thanks Amy, we have the upright Dyson too as our main cleaner, so this compliments it well.
