What have you done to with your DH Gert?

Absolutely nothing  cookie! ;D ;D

It has been 20 days since. I cooked  a meal for the two of us. Today for lunch he had a Coles Sweet and Sour Chicken with pineapple and rice. He bought it, popped it into the microwave after carefully reading the instructions. I asked him how it tasted and he said OK but there was not much chicken in it. My oh My. Imagine that!

He bought 4 bananas the other day then left them in the car where they still reside. I wonder why he has not noticed the smell. I am not responsible for his bananas  I feel.

I am quite enjoying not cooking for others for the first time in my life apart from holidays. I did make a lovely loaf of bread last night though.

I have not even had a glass of wine. I guess it goes with having very ordinary but interesting meals and mostly sitting on my fat behind just relaxing and reading. The pantry is looking pretty  good and I am thinking sardines on toast for dinner  with some fresh figs and feta for afters. Amazing what combos you can come up with when you don't have to meal plan.

The dog is loving it too. He has had some great treats. He loves fresh fish so tomorrow I may buy a lovely swordfish steak to share with him.

Life is good.

$28 yesterday.  When I got home there was a bag of Chocolate coated liquorice.  I ask Ral how that got in there and he said it must have jumped in.

Chookie, that choc coated licorice puts Mexican jumping beans and kangaroos to shame !! The only thing known to man to settle it down is the humble shopping cart!! :D :D

That's sounds just like my DH when he comes shopping thing fall of the shelf into the trolley.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!
