I saw it used on a friend a couple of years ago when he picked  up an very nasty infection in his eye while travelling  in China.

I haven't been keeping a tally of my Grocerie spending over the last few weeks. I keep forgetting to tally it up at the end of each fortnight. I think if I did my groceries weekly then It would be easier. But anyway I think I would stay within the budget most of the time as the income is pretty tight. Plus being on the weight loss challenge means much less junk food brought :D

We are all going to have weeks when there is more to buy. Birthdays, Christmas, Easter.
If you're on budget most weeks then you can afford to splurge on the special occasions.
Life would be no fun if you're too rigid.

Yes your right there, i took ds out with friends yesterday & started to realise I was being scrooge like. Spent $10 in time zone, then we went to the dome, I bought him chips, bless him, he wanted a meal & I said no we have heaps of food at home.

He is going to ice age today.

He will have a good time at the movies.
It's easy to get quite obsessive once you start with these challenges. I don't want to spend over $100 on my entire shopping bill each week. I wouldn't let DH buy socks this week.
