Hope you don't get any more rain!!  Hope you can have it fixed soon mich and that your ins co is quick off the mark, too . . . good luck!!

There is another leak a little bit over to the left as well. We have council clean up soon and will rip the entire ceiling and insulation out and start again. Not too bad - it could have been a lot worse.

It's not so bad. Not like it was our house. Still disappointing and going to be a lot of work. Will see how our insurance comes to the party?

That was bad luck for you Michele, good thing SD is moving out so that you can get the whole job done ASAP.

I knew DH's visit to his parents would cheer them up no end CC, it's surprising how it will lift people.  With that in mind I have just phoned an old friend of Geoff's who hasn't visited in many months, told him the current situation and he will pay a 'surprise' visit this afternoon.  I am hoping it will have the same effect as your DH's did.

Sorry to hear of the storm damage Michele, hopefully no hassles with insurance etc.

Judy, hoping Geoff and his  friend have a lovely visit   :)

I hope Geoff's surprise visit is going well Judy.
Michele I a pleased almost all is well over your way. Sydneysiders I did think of you all and hoped you were ok. You get some real rippers of storms over there.
A beautiful day here again.

Well we had the visit, Geoff remembered who our guest was but he remained very quiet and withdrawn as usual although we did get the odd smile now and then so it proved he was at least listening to the conversation.  His friend said he won't leave it so long between visits now.

Uni is on a cruise. Not sure for how long. Hope the seasickness tablets worked.
