Evening everyone, Kim so glad that this time of tension is nearly behind you, your poor Mum I feel for her , I hope she escapes down to visit you in her own when you are settled.  Let the next 4 days go really quickly for you.

Mich i normally roll with the punches but after the past near 6 mths of constant negativity and the 'toxic' atmosphere i find it hard to take..especially after our past year before our return.. My house is normally fairly calm.. Everyone has the odd argument or tense situation but this has been pretty constant and its a long story but its alot about controlling everyone from one mainperson..but your right its over .. Just a few more days and we are off.. We will sort it out later.. We always do but its so unnecessary..

Looking forward to your arrival and once you are settled in and the dust has settled, we are taking you out for lunch  :D

Kim I am so happy to read your news - the long wait is over and life can return to normal at last.  It must be so hard for the children to understand what is going on - Grandparents are not supposed to be grumpy old people (and I'm sure your Mum isn't).  I just hope your Mum's life is not going to be hell once you have moved on and she is stuck with a grumpy bum who makes her life miserable.  Sleeping on blow up beds will be so much fun, you will be in your own home and can do what you want - the kids will love it.  Good luck with the move and I hope Mum accepts that you just have to go.  :-* :-*

Kim I am sure that your folks will settle into their old routine when you have moved. Your Mum will love visiting her grandchildren, and so will your Dad eventually.

Have happy, exciting thoughts. 💐💐💐💐

So glad to hear your news Kim.  You won't know yourselves in your new home, and you will actually get to cook whenever and whatever you like.  ;D Sounds like the kids will have a blast too.
I've just got back from Sydney myself as many years ago I too lived on the North Shore, and I had my school reunion on the weekend. I'm sure you will quickly settle back  into Sydney, and it will become familiar again.
