some teachers up here should go too. :o

Our principal is retiring at end of June.
wonder who we get.

I think teaching must be a hard job..for the teachers.. :)

I admire you all.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Morning all.

It's interesting to read that you are having similar problems with teaching in Australia as we seem to have over here.   The NUT (National Union of Teachers) has just proposed that teachers should not teach for more than 4 hours a day so that they can have time to do everything else that they have to do.   I get what they're wanting but I can imagine some of our press having a field day talking about them being workshy....  :-)) :-))

I stopped working when aged 52 because I was fed up with what I was doing.  I was meant to take 4 months to decide what I would do next but ended up not doing any paid work since.   I was lucky in that I was financially able to not work and have been doing voluntary work which means I am in control of what I do and how much I do.

I well remember that feeling of panic when I made the decision to stop - but I have never regretted it.  There's more to life than work  ;) ;)

It is scarey when you stop. Especially financially. You manage though and all is wonderful.

You don't need to rush into a decision but just think about this as the start of your journey into the rest of your life and we'll be here to hold your hand while you start to plan the trip  :D :D :D

Morning :)

Not a great day yesterday.. Lots of running around between boxes and was exhausted at the end of the day and what did I do??? Scratched the side of my new car coming into our garage which I admit is not an easy turn but still.. I was so peeved .. :(( and to top it off dh was not happy.. Still angry at myself as its not something I would do normally... Arrghhhh!!
