I can't remember what happened to your pasta machine. ??? Are you waiting for a paricular machine to be on sale before you buy a new one?

Morning all.  Rained heavily here last night.  We are wondering if our drive is still in place or if it  has all washed down on to the road.

Uni ,  I saw a recipe for making vanilla essence with Agave syrup.  You use a similar method to using Vodka.  I thought I might try it and grind it up to make paste.
Morning, evening CC.

Chookie i always assumed feuilles de brique pastry also caled brik, brick etc was the equivalent of filo pastry??.. Used alot in france for marocain cuisine.. Although havent used filo for a long long time..also used for desserts in france.. There are heaps of recipes online for making the pastry.. Here is one blog and she also as a youtube video

Brick pastry or Warka is not universally available, but you can make a good approximation at home using this simple recipe.... Recipe at http://titlisbusykitchen.com/archives/brick-pastry-warka
To use the pastry, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DL6uXOxKGS8

Apparently very easy..

Gf dh made it home awake lol.. He will have a good rest this weekend and should get ack to normal

Morning all :)
