Morning all we arrived yesterday to a very hot and humid Vietnam, they are just coming out of the wet season, we have our own personal tour guide and driver, wifi not very good in room. Love what we have seen so far. So many people so many bikes.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Hi Jen, that humidity will sap your energy - keep up the fluids and have fun.

Great to hear you arrived safely Jen ;D
The hustle and bustle of Vietnam is amazing. I loved watching the people crossing the busy streets with cars and motorbikes going in every imaginable direction. Hoe you have a fantastic trip. Gert just posted a couple of photos from the Mekong on my trip thread a short time ago

Well we didn't get back from London until 2.00am.It would have been earlier but a major road was closed because of a serious accident so we had to do a detour.Still up at 7.00am to get a loaf of bread on the go before I walked Chance.I'll be sleeping in front of the TV tonight :D :D :D But I'll make sure I record the new series of Downton Abbey ;)

Thanks for the pics Gert.
Enjoy your holiday Jen.
Wow CC that is late.
I am not quite  dressed yet but need to get on and go out with the dog. He's had a good run in the large garden. DH gone to take nephew (7) to rugby, he is having the day with us while his parents are busy. We are finding we are both very tired.
LovEly  mild weather. Makes me wish I lived in a warmer climate, I hate the cold wet and dark here for months and months! I am a summer person for sure.
Finally got new mobile phone after no service since arriving here on 17 July with previous provider. The contracts had to be sorted first. However my number will not be ported til Tuesday.... Grrrrr.

Rita must get on, cheers DJ x

Have a fantastic time in Vietnam, Jen.

Lucky that you're there. It's very, very windy here. Hard to sleep :(
