Gert you poor thing. I have a fear of termites eating into our house. Our roof is steel, all frames except the front and back door are steel or aluminium. They come in so easily. Most of our furniture is jarrah and they find it too hard. The idiots that built the house put wood to support the bath tub in the ensuite and the other bathroom, so if the baths fall over I panic.  We have termimesh too it's good to know that it isn't any good. Do you have traps that can be checked for the termites around?

My late DH and I had a building and pest inspection company. Terimesh isn't 100% - obviously as Gert has found out but it is a deterrent. The best thing to do especially if you live in a high risk area is to have a pest inspection every 12 months.

Yup we have had traps for years. I am certain they are newly arrived or I would have seen the damage. I will ask the cleaner if she noticed anything as she cleans the skirting boards every two weeks . I will post. Pic.

Did he flinch when the staples were removed?  Oh well, perhaps he is used to the T-shirt now and didn't really expect to lose it today.
