Sleep well the sleepless ones.

The fires sound truly awful, and we think of you all near Sydney.

We had almost an inch of rain today..... What a contrast.

Oh, DJ  . . . if only we could have even half your rain right now!!!

Hi Marie . .

Have two massive trees in the front yard coming down today . . .it's going to be a noisy day to say the least, but at least we'll be able to sleep at night when the wind or a storm comes up - no way at all for those trees to come down without causing a great deal of grief!! . . and, hallelujah!! the local council agreed!!!  Councils around here have a bit of a history of denying permission only to have the tree in question come down within a year or so causing no end of destruction.

Morning all,  cool here today,  may have to light fire for heating.   Have sour dough loaf proving overnight but may need longer as it is so cool.   That is a lot of rain DJ.  Do you have water tanks?  We love it when it rains as it fills our tanks and then we have plenty for the garden.

Good morning everyone,
What is it with this sleep thingy at the moment. Oh to go to bed and wake up when it is light...one day.
Thinking of everyone impacted by those terrible fires.
Have a good day all
Denise
