Morning ladies, yes we survived our first really hot day cookie and today will be 38 but a cool change at some stage. Now that's what we like to hear.

It's cold alright Yvette, frost here tonight, after 35 mm of rain in 36 hrs... Oh joys of UK winters....
London will be warmer though.
First curtains up today in living end of kitchen. DD and I are very pleased with them? DH not here, see what he says tmro!

Ah the kitchen is coming to life DJ, that's wonderful - a bit of brightness must lift your spirits.

Yes JD, but the weather is so awful and the mud so bad it'll take more than a pair of curtains to cheer us but little steps.... Day at a time and all that. The day off yesterday was wonderful, it was hard to get going again today!
DS gave me this book for my birthday, the carrot relish looks very good.
DD gave me a new stick blender, the old one was broken this year.
DH is giving me a Christmas tree (just don't ask) but we haven't got it yet.

The curtains are lovely and beautifully made. The gifts are wonderful too. Well we will see about the tree when it comes. Is DH's chopping one for you.

For Adelaide members, there's a bit of a cool breeze coming in off the ocean at the moment so it looks like the promised cool change is definitely on it's way. More pleasant outside than inside at the moment.

Lovely curtains and gifts DJ.
Judy, we could do with some of that cool breeze here at the moment.
