Yep Sunday paper run again. Gee I'm good to my kids, been doing this every Sunday for over 2.5 years. The only Sunday I missed was Christmas day, and that only because there was no papers to deliver.

Thanks for lovely comments everyone. Yes CC job situation very, very hard for the young at present.
Met DD new boss today and seen where she will work. That's all encouraging, finding somewhere affordable to live will be extremely hard on a starter salary. Went to look at one place, seemed fine, but no cooker. Only two rings and a microwave. Owner adamant we couldn't have a baby oven with two more rings, so that was that! Even the agent agreed it was no good.

Lovely to see the sun, lots of catching up in the garden to do from tomorrow, more planting, weeding and yet more ground to prepare. Not enough hours in day for me at moment.

Regarding the tumle drier, scary. They always say never run when out. I knew someone who had a DW fire, the mess was terrible but they were ok. Awful about the house fire too.

Am up late as DH is away, and I ne'er settle quickly when is not here, but I can sleep later I hope.

Morning / evening all.

It's not just the cold Amy but the wind and the rain and the greyness of northern Europe. Especially in a poor summer like this.
The variety of temperatures has been great this year, and makes planning anything outdoors impossible. A huge number of annual outdoor events have been canceled as the ground conditions have been too wet and parking impossible.

Australia has a much dryer, sunnier and hotter climate.
But we don't have the dangerous wildlife that goes along with your weather!

Evening DJ :)
I have heard that its always pretty bleak up there. My step-dad comes from somewhere near Manchester (I don't know where that is though lol :-))). I think he moved to Australia for the nicer climate ;)
Don't get me started on the wildlife! I'm scared of snakes, spiders, sharks... :-))
